September Suicide Prevention Month 2025: Crow’s Nest Ranch Events, Workshops, and Support in Truckee-Tahoe

September is recognized nationwide as Suicide Prevention Month—a crucial time to raise awareness, provide education, and foster hope in our communities. At Crow’s Nest Ranch Sober Living & Outpatient, we’re proud to offer a full calendar of free events, workshops, and opportunities for connection throughout September 2025 in the Truckee-Tahoe region.

Whether you’re seeking support, looking to learn new coping skills, or want to connect with others, our doors are open to everyone—individuals, families, and caregivers alike.

September 2025 Suicide Prevention Month Events Details

Open Office Hours - Every Wednesday, 11 AM – 3 PM

  • No appointment needed—just drop in.

  • Private, supportive conversations with licensed clinicians and peer specialists.

  • Resources and referrals available on-site.

Workshops - 2nd & 4th Tuesdays, 7:00–8:30 PM

  • Sept 9: Coping Skills for Stress & Crisis (DBT-Informed)

  • Sept 23: Family Support & Navigating Grief

  • Free and open to all; in-person at our Outpatient Office or join virtually.

  • Registration encouraged but not required.

Guided Hike & Mindfulness Walks - 1st & 3rd Saturdays, 12 PM

  • Sept 6: Coping Skills for Stress & Crisis (DBT-Informed)

  • Sept 20: Family Support & Navigating Grief

  • Meet at a local trailhead (TBA).

  • Guided by Crow’s Nest staff; mindfulness and grounding practices included.

  • All ages and fitness levels welcome—bring water, comfortable shoes, and sun protection.
